Once registration closes, all fees are non-refundable but may be transferred. If you are unable to participate, you are responsible for finding a replacement player. If no replacement is found, your entry will be forfeited.
We highly encourage all participants to register at www.leaguelocker.com, as it will be the official tournament platform for the AUBC Canada Day Tournament 2025.
Tournament Format
Scoring (Preliminary Rounds): Games are one set to 30 points. Teams switch sides at 15 points. No deuce on the first round and semi-finals.
Scoring (Finals): Matches are the best two of three sets to 21 points.
Points Advantage: A 3 point advantage per woman on a team will be applied (except mixed doubles)
Official Shuttlecock: Yonex Mavis 300.
Punctuality: Players have a 2-minute grace period after their match is called. Failure to report to the court on time will result in a forfeit.
Footwear: Only shoes with non-marking, rubberized soles are allowed on the courts.
Levels A, B, & C
Round Robin
Each level (A, B, C) has 2 brackets.
Each team plays 3 games.
Semi-Finals
Top 4 ranked teams per level (Rank 1 vs. Rank 3; Rank 2 vs. Rank 4)
One set to 30 points.
Finals
One final match per level.
Best two of three sets to 21 points.
Mixed Doubles
Round Robin
12 pairs split into 3 brackets.
Semi-Finals
Top 4 ranked teams (Rank 1 vs. Rank 3; Rank 2 vs. Rank 4)
One set to 30 points.
